Regain control with help from a Northridge Therapist, Counseling

There are somethings that individuals want no one to know about.

Rape and sexual assault definitively alter your existence in the world.

Something has been stolen from you, and it is a struggle to get back into

your life's routine. No one can understand what you are going through.

Likewise, adults who were molested as children live in a vacuum of confusing emotions with memories that are inescapable. Finding a therapist willing to hear your story and support you in your rage and anguish is critical to healing. Therapy will help you regain your life.  YOU ARE A SURVIVOR.

Survivors have difficulty regaining a sense of "normal." Recovery is an intense time of healing wounds filled with pain, humiliation, fear & self-doubt. Depression sometimes sets in as you deal with overwhelming emotions of anger and betrayal. With tender and patient support, I can help you heal these injuries and lessen their impact on your daily life.

For over ten years I have worked with sexual assault survivors; as a Northridge therapist, an intern, an advocate & university athletics director. Working together we will build confidence, strength & trust in your inner voice and instincts. Regardless of age, we will actively participate in expression & exploration, as we strive toward inner peace & happiness.
